The longer travel days were balanced with lighter sightseeing where possible. The car was neat and the AC worked well on the warmer parts of the trip. The trip did what it was supposed to do without unnecessary hassle.
Our group was my father and younger brother, so timing and breaks mattered more than covering extra places. We had a clear idea of the next day's plan, which made mornings easier. One small suggestion: share the next day's start time a little earlier.
