This 04 Nights / 05 Days Yamunotri Gangotri Yatra Package from Haridwar is designed for pilgrims who want to cover two important Char Dham shrines—Yamunotri and Gangotri—within a compact Uttarakhand pilgrimage itinerary. Pickup is available from Haridwar or Dehradun Airport, after which the journey proceeds towards Barkot via Mussoorie with Kempty Fall included en route. Barkot serves as the base for the Yamunotri visit.
The Yamunotri sector starts with an early drive towards Jankichatti/Phoolchatti. From there, travellers undertake an approximately 6 km one-way trek to Yamunotri. The trek can be completed on foot, while horse or Doli services are mentioned in the itinerary at the traveller’s own cost. At Yamunotri, the programme includes the scheduled pilgrimage visit before returning to Barkot for the second overnight stay.
After completing Yamunotri, the route continues to Uttarkashi. The itinerary includes Vishwanath Temple and allows time to settle in before the next day’s Gangotri excursion. Gangotri is covered as a same-day road journey from Uttarkashi through Gangnani and Harsil Valley. After the scheduled temple visit and pilgrimage activities at Gangotri, travellers return to Uttarkashi for the night.
On the final day, the journey proceeds from Uttarkashi towards Rishikesh. The itinerary includes Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir and Shivananda Ashram before the final transfer to Haridwar Railway Station or Dehradun Airport.
This Yamunotri Gangotri tour from Haridwar is suitable for families, groups and pilgrims who are comfortable with long hill drives and the Yamunotri trekking section. Transportation is arranged by non-AC vehicle, with vehicle type depending on group size and package confirmation. Meal arrangements vary by selected package category, so the applicable meal plan, transport category, inclusions and final operating details should be checked in the written booking confirmation.
The route follows the saved day-wise itinerary. Return travel and intermediate sightseeing remain subject to road, weather and local authority conditions.

Mountain driving durations should therefore be treated as approximate, with practical itinerary adjustments made according to route conditions and traveller safety
The period from the official temple opening to June, and again from September until the temple-closing dates, is generally preferred for this Dham Yatra. Always confirm the current year's temple dates, weather, road conditions and helicopter operations before travel.
July and August are the main monsoon months and can bring heavy rain, landslides, road closures, delays and temporary suspension of helicopter services. Avoid these months when possible and check official advisories.
