Plan with clarity

Planning your kedarnath yatra

Choose a route that fits your time

Choose the shrines or spiritual sites you want to visit first, then compare overnight stops and daily transfers. Check walking requirements, entry arrangements and the time allowed for each visit. Transport assistance and special darshan arrangements should be confirmed explicitly.

Allow for the journey to your pickup point as well as the tour itself. A longer list of destinations can mean more time in the vehicle; compare overnight stops and daily travel before booking.

When to travel

Verify the operating calendar and access requirements of the sites on your selected route. Mountain pilgrimage access and local conditions may differ from city-based temple visits.

Confirm the operating dates, local access and availability for your chosen itinerary before making non-refundable travel arrangements.

Check what your quote includes

Compare the hotel category, room sharing, meal plan, vehicle and included sightseeing. Entry tickets, permits, optional activities and special transfers may be charged separately. The written quote and package exclusions should make these clear.

Review our payment terms, cancellation policy and refund policy before confirming.

We booked the Char Dham Yatra Package with Kedarnath by Helicopter (Ex-Haridwar) as a family trip and found the route around Kedarnath and Haridwar quite manageable. The main transfers were already sorted, which saved us time on the ground. In our case, the Haridwar start point worked well for our onward route. We were satisfied overall, though first-time travellers would benefit from clearer notes on the longer travel sections.

I chose this itinerary because two friends were joining and I did not want an overpacked schedule. The cold was more than we expected, but the trip itself was managed comfortably. Road travel took time, but the driver was patient about tea and washroom breaks. We came back happy with the trip. We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.

We joined from another city and were a little unsure about coordination, especially with my parents and two kids. The day-wise plan was clear, so we knew what time we needed to be ready. One hotel check-in took a little time, but the rest of the trip was smooth. We were prepared for early starts, and that helped on the temple days. We returned with good memories, which was what we wanted.

Our group was my sister and parents, so timing and breaks mattered more than covering extra places. The day-wise plan was clear, so we knew what time we needed to be ready. We kept one evening light and just walked around nearby instead of adding more sightseeing. Pickup was on time and we did not have to keep calling for the vehicle. The trip did what it was supposed to do without unnecessary hassle. We kept one evening free instead of adding more sightseeing, and that was a good decision.
