It was my first time on this route and I was with my brother and his family. We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. The itinerary worked better than trying to arrange local transport on our own. It was an average experience for us; clearer planning on long travel days would help.

We booked the Char Dham Yatra Package with Kedarnath by Helicopter (Ex-Haridwar) as a family trip and found the route around Kedarnath and Haridwar quite manageable. The main transfers were already sorted, which saved us time on the ground. In our case, the Haridwar start point worked well for our onward route. We were satisfied overall, though first-time travellers would benefit from clearer notes on the longer travel sections.

After a long gap, we finally managed a trip with senior citizens with two senior family members. We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger.
