Planning your religious family tour

Choose a route that fits your time

Choose the shrines or spiritual sites you want to visit first, then compare overnight stops and daily transfers. Check walking requirements, entry arrangements and the time allowed for each visit. Transport assistance and special darshan arrangements should be confirmed explicitly.

Allow for the journey to your pickup point as well as the tour itself. A longer list of destinations can mean more time in the vehicle; compare overnight stops and daily travel before booking.

When to travel

Verify the operating calendar and access requirements of the sites on your selected route. Mountain pilgrimage access and local conditions may differ from city-based temple visits.

Confirm the operating dates, local access and availability for your chosen itinerary before making non-refundable travel arrangements.

Check what your quote includes

Compare the hotel category, room sharing, meal plan, vehicle and included sightseeing. Entry tickets, permits, optional activities and special transfers may be charged separately. The written quote and package exclusions should make these clear.

Review our payment terms, cancellation policy and refund policy before confirming.

We joined from another city and were a little unsure about coordination, especially with my parents and uncle. My father appreciated a tea stop in the middle of the drive. We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger. We appreciated that the driver did not push unnecessary shops or extra stops. The trip did what it was supposed to do without unnecessary hassle. We kept one evening free instead of adding more sightseeing, and that was a good decision.

We had a clear idea of the next day's plan, which made mornings easier. There was one early morning that felt tough, but it helped us avoid a lot of crowd. We were satisfied, though communication could be slightly faster on busy days.

This trip was mainly for my parents; I just wanted the days to be easy for everyone. We stopped at a normal local restaurant for lunch and it was better than expected. The driving felt safe and there was no unnecessary speeding. The mountain road was long, but the views and the final temple visit made it worthwhile. It was a good, straightforward experience.

We had limited days, and three college friends were travelling with me. We stopped at a normal local restaurant for lunch and it was better than expected. We changed one small stop during the trip and it was handled without any fuss. The hill section was tiring for my mother, but regular breaks made it manageable. The main arrangements were fine; only the daily updates could be a little more consistent.
