Badrinath Yatra

This trip was mainly for three college friends; I just wanted the days to be easy for everyone. A special mention to Rashmi for making the pre-trip communication smooth. The driver gave honest estimates about travel time instead of promising impossible timings. One day traffic delayed us, but it did not spoil the sightseeing. We came back happy with the trip.

I travelled with three college friends for a pilgrimage we had been planning for months. My parents were emotional after the darshan, which made the whole journey special for us. We liked that the important places were covered without turning the day into a race. The children were tired by evening, so having some free time helped. The route was covered, but there is room to improve communication and daily timing.

This was not a luxury trip for us; it was simply a long-pending family trip with my parents and uncle. We had a clear idea of the next day's plan, which made mornings easier. We had extra luggage and the driver helped us fit it without making an issue. The main arrangements were fine; only the daily updates could be a little more consistent.

We had limited days, and my parents and two kids were travelling with me. The car was neat and the AC worked well on the warmer parts of the trip. The day-wise plan was clear, so we knew what time we needed to be ready. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.

We planned this as a relaxed holiday, and I was travelling with my husband and parents. The day started on time and the route was handled sensibly. The trip felt organised but not overly controlled. The darshan day was the most important part for us and we were glad it was not rushed. We returned with good memories, which was what we wanted.
