Tour Packages

This was not a luxury trip for us; it was simply a school-holiday trip with my brother and his family. The driver knew the route and did not rush us at the stops. We stopped at a normal local restaurant for lunch and it was better than expected. The mountain road was long, but the views and the final temple visit made it worthwhile. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.

This trip was mainly for my cousins; I just wanted the days to be easy for everyone. The temple visit felt peaceful because we had enough time instead of running back to the vehicle. We were satisfied, though communication could be slightly faster on busy days.

The main reason we chose the Hemkund Sahib & Valley of Flowers Tour Package (Ex-Delhi) was the route through Hemkund Sahib, Valley of Flowers and Delhi. It saved us from arranging cabs and hotels separately at every stage. The itinerary was sensible and the nature and trekking part gave the itinerary a different feel. The only thing we would change is giving a clearer estimate for the longest driving day.

The trip was booked mostly for my wife, and I joined them. We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger. The driving felt safe and there was no unnecessary speeding. There was quite a bit of walking, so the slower pace suited our family. One small suggestion: give slightly clearer information when traffic or weather changes the plan. My mother was more comfortable than I expected on the longer drive.

We appreciated that the driver did not push unnecessary shops or extra stops. We did not need constant phone support, but when we asked something we got a reply. Nothing major went wrong, though a little more proactive communication would improve the service.
