After a long gap, we finally managed a relaxed holiday with my parents and uncle. We stopped at a normal local restaurant for lunch and it was better than expected. We had a clear idea of the next day's plan, which made mornings easier. We returned with good memories, which was what we wanted.
This was not a luxury trip for us; it was simply a school-holiday trip with my husband. We liked that the important places were covered without turning the day into a race. We returned with good memories, which was what we wanted.
Overall the trip was good and both Kedarnath and Badrinath were covered properly. One suggestion would be to send the next day's departure time and travel duration on WhatsApp every evening. It would make the long journey easier to plan for families.
It was a long journey but very satisfying spiritually. Gangotri was peaceful, Kedarnath was an amazing experience and Badrinath darshan was also very good. The driver was supportive throughout the route and gave us enough time wherever possible.
