Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Kashi Vishwanath Temple is among the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas in India. Situated on the western bank of the holy River Ganga, the temple has been a major center of faith, devotion, and pilgrimage for centuries. The present temple structure was rebuilt in 1780 by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore.
