I travelled with my mother and aunt for a birthday trip for my mother. The hill drive itself was one of the nicest parts of the trip. One small suggestion: share the next day's start time a little earlier.

It was my first time on this route and I was with my husband and our daughter. The car was neat and the AC worked well on the warmer parts of the trip. We enjoyed the viewpoints more than the crowded market areas. I would recommend the itinerary to families who prefer a relaxed pace. We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.
