I chose this itinerary because three college friends were joining and I did not want an overpacked schedule. We got enough breaks on the road, which mattered because elders were travelling with us. We kept some time for an evening walk instead of doing nonstop sightseeing. We stopped at a normal local restaurant for lunch and it was better than expected. The journey went well, with a few small coordination points that can be improved. One thing I liked was that nobody objected when we asked to slow the day down a little.

After a long gap, we finally managed a simple trip without too much rushing with our family of five. The hill drive itself was one of the nicest parts of the trip. We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger. We were satisfied, though communication could be slightly faster on busy days.

For us, the Complete Himachal with Golden Temple Tour was less about doing too many places and more about covering Amritsar comfortably. The route stayed close to the itinerary and the driver handled the longer sections well. The day-wise route was practical for the time we had. The service was good; slightly more proactive updates during traffic or weather changes would make it better.
