We planned this as a family get-together, and I was travelling with two friends. We did not need constant phone support, but when we asked something we got a reply. The journey went well, with a few small coordination points that can be improved.
Our group was my parents and uncle, so timing and breaks mattered more than covering extra places. The vehicle was comfortable enough for the distance we covered. We were satisfied, though communication could be slightly faster on busy days.

We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. We got enough breaks on the road, which mattered because elders were travelling with us. Good experience overall, but families with elders would benefit from clearer timing notes. My mother was more comfortable than I expected on the longer drive.
