It was my first time on this route and I was with my wife and parents. We liked that the important places were covered without turning the day into a race. We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. The hill drive itself was one of the nicest parts of the trip. One small suggestion: send a short evening update when the following day starts early. We kept one evening free instead of adding more sightseeing, and that was a good decision.
This was not a luxury trip for us; it was simply a long-pending family trip with two friends. We changed one small stop during the trip and it was handled without any fuss. The trip was good overall; just a little more advance timing information would help.
