We had been talking about this trip for a while, so I finally went with my wife and parents. The ghat area had a very different atmosphere in the morning and evening. One small suggestion: confirm hotel and pickup details a little earlier. We had a small delay at check-in, but the rest of the day stayed on track.
Overall the pilgrimage was good and all the main places were covered properly. One suggestion would be to send the next day's pickup time and sightseeing sequence on WhatsApp every evening. It would make preparation easier for families travelling with elders.
