The weather changed suddenly, so the extra buffer in the plan helped. The driving felt safe and there was no unnecessary speeding. We returned with good memories, which was what we wanted.
Our group was my husband and our daughter, so timing and breaks mattered more than covering extra places. We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. We came back happy with the trip.

We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. The hill drive itself was one of the nicest parts of the trip. One small suggestion: send a short evening update when the following day starts early. We kept one evening free instead of adding more sightseeing, and that was a good decision.
