We spent less time shopping and more time at the places we had actually come to see. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure. The trip worked, but I would expect faster updates when timings change.
After a long gap, we finally managed a family vacation after a long gap with my husband and our daughter. The monastery visit gave us a quiet break from the longer drives. We came back happy with the trip.
