We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.

A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.
I travelled with my wife and two children for a school-holiday trip. The driver knew the route and did not rush us at the stops. One small suggestion: send a short evening update when the following day starts early.

The scenic stops between towns were as enjoyable as the main sightseeing. The trip did what it was supposed to do without unnecessary hassle. One thing I liked was that nobody objected when we asked to slow the day down a little.
