One thing that worked well was that the day-wise route was practical for the time we had. A short evening WhatsApp update would make the next morning easier for families.
This trip was mainly for two senior family members; I just wanted the days to be easy for everyone. Pickup was on time and we did not have to keep calling for the vehicle. We came back happy with the trip.

One small suggestion: give slightly clearer information when traffic or weather changes the plan.
