The hill drive itself was one of the nicest parts of the trip. We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. We returned with good memories, which was what we wanted.
I travelled with my parents for a relaxed holiday. One hotel check-in took a little time, but the rest of the trip was smooth. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.
