We kept one evening light and just walked around nearby instead of adding more sightseeing. Road travel took time, but the driver was patient about tea and washroom breaks. One small suggestion: give slightly clearer information when traffic or weather changes the plan. My mother was more comfortable than I expected on the longer drive.
After a long gap, we finally managed a birthday trip for my mother with my wife. We enjoyed the viewpoints more than the crowded market areas. For our family, the arrangements worked well.
