Pickup was on time and we did not have to keep calling for the vehicle. The children liked the cooler weather and the open spaces. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.
After a long gap, we finally managed a relaxed holiday with my husband and parents. The longer travel days were balanced with lighter sightseeing where possible. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.
