My father appreciated a tea stop in the middle of the drive. The main arrangements were fine; only the daily updates could be a little more consistent. We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.
This trip was mainly for my husband and our daughter; I just wanted the days to be easy for everyone. Traffic was heavy near one town, but the rest of the day was relaxed. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.
