The trip felt organised but not overly controlled. The driver knew the route and did not rush us at the stops. I would recommend the itinerary to families who prefer a relaxed pace. My mother was more comfortable than I expected on the longer drive.

We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. We returned with good memories, which was what we wanted. We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.
