The longer travel days were balanced with lighter sightseeing where possible. The city-to-city drive was long, but the next day's sightseeing was not overloaded. We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.

We planned this as my parents' wish, and I was travelling with my parents and uncle. There was no confusion about the main route or overnight stops. We enjoyed the morning sightseeing most because the crowd was lighter. We came back happy with the trip.
