We had been talking about this trip for a while, so I finally went with my parents. There was no confusion about the main route or overnight stops. The trip did what it was supposed to do without unnecessary hassle.
I chose this itinerary because my wife and two children were joining and I did not want an overpacked schedule. The trip felt organised but not overly controlled. We came back happy with the trip.
