Road travel took time, but the driver was patient about tea and washroom breaks. The children liked the cooler weather and the open spaces. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.
The trip was booked mostly for my parents and two kids, and I joined them. The children were tired by evening, so having some free time helped. We were satisfied, though communication could be slightly faster on busy days.

One small suggestion: share the next day's start time a little earlier. We had a small delay at check-in, but the rest of the day stayed on track.
