This was not a luxury trip for us; it was simply a few days away from work with my husband and parents. There was quite a bit of walking, so the slower pace suited our family. For the price and planning, we were satisfied.
I chose this itinerary because my sister and parents were joining and I did not want an overpacked schedule. The schedule had enough structure without making every hour feel fixed. The trip did what it was supposed to do without unnecessary hassle.

We kept one evening light and just walked around nearby instead of adding more sightseeing. The journey went well, with a few small coordination points that can be improved. One thing I liked was that nobody objected when we asked to slow the day down a little.
