The cold was more than we expected, but the trip itself was managed comfortably. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.
Went with my brother and his family. We were more interested in a comfortable trip than ticking off every stop. We liked that the important places were covered without turning the day into a race. We came back happy with the trip.
