We kept some time for an evening walk instead of doing nonstop sightseeing. Most of the timings matched what had been discussed before departure. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.
This was not a luxury trip for us; it was simply a comfortable road trip with my husband and parents. The hotel was simple, but the room was clean and that was enough for us. We came back happy with the trip.
