I was travelling with our family of five, so I was watching the pace and comfort closely. The winding roads were handled carefully and nobody in our group felt rushed. It was an average experience for us; clearer planning on long travel days would help.

The trip was booked mostly for our family of four, and I joined them. The driving felt safe and there was no unnecessary speeding. The children liked the cooler weather and the open spaces. It was a good, straightforward experience.

We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger. I would recommend the itinerary to families who prefer a relaxed pace.
