We had been talking about this trip for a while, so I finally went with my wife. We preferred a slower pace and that was respected. One small suggestion: share the next day's start time a little earlier. One thing I liked was that nobody objected when we asked to slow the day down a little.

I travelled with two friends for a short spiritual break. The day started on time and the route was handled sensibly. The scenic stops between towns were as enjoyable as the main sightseeing. The order of stops made sense and avoided unnecessary backtracking. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.
