One small suggestion: send a short evening update when the following day starts early.
After a long gap, we finally managed a family vacation after a long gap with my mother and aunt. Traffic was heavy near one town, but the rest of the day was relaxed. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.

I travelled with our family of five for a long-pending family trip. We preferred a slower pace and that was respected. The itinerary worked better than trying to arrange local transport on our own. Happy with how the journey was handled.
