Went with my wife and parents. We were more interested in a comfortable trip than ticking off every stop. The weather changed suddenly, so the extra buffer in the plan helped. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.
This trip was mainly for my wife and two children; I just wanted the days to be easy for everyone. We started early for the temple and avoided the worst of the crowd. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.
