We booked the Delhi Shimla Manali Tour Package 7 Nights 8 Days as a family trip and found the route around Shimla, Manali and Delhi quite manageable. The main transfers were already sorted, which saved us time on the ground. In our case, the day-wise route was practical for the time we had. We were satisfied overall, though first-time travellers would benefit from clearer notes on the longer travel sections.

We compared a few plans before choosing the Himalayan Golden Trail. What suited us was the combination of the hill circuit and the mountain sightseeing. The driver knew the route and the order of sightseeing made sense. Also, the day-wise route was practical for the time we had. It would help if hotel and pickup details were reconfirmed a little earlier on busy days.
Our group was a small family group, so timing and breaks mattered more than covering extra places. We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger. No major complaint from our side.

Went with my parents and two kids. We were more interested in a comfortable trip than ticking off every stop. My father appreciated a tea stop in the middle of the drive. Even when traffic slowed us down, the driver stayed calm and adjusted the plan. We were satisfied, though communication could be slightly faster on busy days. We skipped one minor stop and used that time to rest, which suited our group better.
