We kept some time for an evening walk instead of doing nonstop sightseeing. One small suggestion: share the next day's start time a little earlier.

One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.

I chose this itinerary because my husband were joining and I did not want an overpacked schedule. We liked that the plan could be adjusted slightly when needed. For our family, the arrangements worked well.
