We did not need constant phone support, but when we asked something we got a reply. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier. My mother was more comfortable than I expected on the longer drive.
It was my first time on this route and I was with two friends. The cab was clean and the driver was easy to coordinate with. One small suggestion: send a short evening update when the following day starts early.
