We kept one evening light and just walked around nearby instead of adding more sightseeing. I would recommend the itinerary to families who prefer a relaxed pace. We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.
It was my first time on this route and I was with my father and younger brother. One day traffic delayed us, but it did not spoil the sightseeing. The trip worked, but I would expect faster updates when timings change.
