We got enough breaks on the road, which mattered because elders were travelling with us. For our family, the arrangements worked well.
I chose this itinerary because my parents and two kids were joining and I did not want an overpacked schedule. One hotel check-in took a little time, but the rest of the trip was smooth. For the price and planning, we were satisfied.
