We spent less time shopping and more time at the places we had actually come to see. The main arrangements were fine; only the daily updates could be a little more consistent.

We had rain for part of the day and the plan was adjusted reasonably. The scenic stops between towns were as enjoyable as the main sightseeing. A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.

Our group was our family of four, so timing and breaks mattered more than covering extra places. The children liked the cooler weather and the open spaces. The trip was good overall; just a little more advance timing information would help.
