We travelled on the Kumaon Lakes & Wildlife Expedition 2026 with family and covered Nainital and Kumaon hills. The daily plan was simple to understand and the important stops got proper time. What made the route easier for us was that we liked having wildlife time mixed with the regular sightseeing. A short evening WhatsApp update would make the next morning easier for families.

For us, the Lakes & Wilderness Escape 2026 was less about doing too many places and more about covering the main sightseeing and the route comfortably. The route stayed close to the itinerary and the driver handled the longer sections well. The day-wise route was practical for the time we had. The main places were covered, although a couple of travel days felt less organised than expected.
