I chose this itinerary because my brother and his family were joining and I did not want an overpacked schedule. The children were tired by evening, so having some free time helped. One small suggestion: mention the longer driving days more clearly before departure.

We planned this as a birthday trip for my mother, and I was travelling with my parents and uncle. The forest section was a nice change from regular city sightseeing. We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger. Our driver was polite and drove steadily, especially on the longer stretches. We came back happy with the trip.

For us, the Uttarakhand Grand Hills & Wildlife Trail 2026 was less about doing too many places and more about covering the main sightseeing and the route comfortably. The route stayed close to the itinerary and the driver handled the longer sections well. We liked having wildlife time mixed with the regular sightseeing. The service was good; slightly more proactive updates during traffic or weather changes would make it better.
