We spent less time shopping and more time at the places we had actually come to see. We had a clear idea of the next day's plan, which made mornings easier. The trip was good overall; just a little more advance timing information would help. We also appreciated being able to take an extra tea break when my parents needed it.

My mother was more comfortable than I expected on the longer drive.
