The hotel was simple, but the room was clean and that was enough for us. The trip worked, but I would expect faster updates when timings change. My mother was more comfortable than I expected on the longer drive.
We joined from another city and were a little unsure about coordination, especially with a small family group. We had extra luggage and the driver helped us fit it without making an issue. I would recommend the itinerary to families who prefer a relaxed pace.

A short WhatsApp update every evening would make the next morning easier.
