We joined from another city and were a little unsure about coordination, especially with a small family group. Traffic was heavy near one town, but the rest of the day was relaxed. We had a clear idea of the next day's plan, which made mornings easier. The weather changed suddenly, so the extra buffer in the plan helped. I would recommend the itinerary to families who prefer a relaxed pace.
I travelled with my parents and uncle for my parents' wish. We did not feel that places were added just to make the itinerary look bigger. One small suggestion: give slightly clearer information when traffic or weather changes the plan.

Booked this after discussing the route with my sister and parents. We stopped at a normal local restaurant for lunch and it was better than expected. The hill drive itself was one of the nicest parts of the trip. Happy with how the journey was handled.
